Our partner company a global financial services firm is hiring for two Java-focused roles within its Risk Technology organization one for developers looking to grow into a high-impact regulatory-critical space and one for a senior engineer ready to lead a strategic platform modernization from the front.

Role 1 Java Software Developer Risk Technology

Youd be joining one of the firms most strategically significant technology hubs: a Risk IT organization that serves 400 risk users locally and builds the tooling that keeps the firms regulatory reporting and risk analysis running. The stack is a distributed global platform rich HTML/JavaScript interfaces Java services and SQL/NoSQL databases built and maintained by Agile squads spanning Budapest and other locations.

What youll do

• Build new features and enhance existing Risk applications
  
• Work as part of a global Agile squad applying DevOps practices day to day
  
• Design and build distributed data processing and calculation logic for large datasets
  
• Help shape the tooling and technology landscape of Risk Management introducing solutions that support the firms regulatory obligations
