Financial Accountant - Your future position

As a member of the Finance and Controlling team in Budapest you will complete complex Intercompany and Fixed assets accounting activities. You will support the International business and ensure compliance with the company policies internal controls laws and regulations and accounting standards

Main responsibilities:

• Take active part and ensure the completion of the month and year-end closing activities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations related to Fixed assets and Intercompany

• Provide data for and support internal/external audits

• Maintain cooperative relationship with the business partners other colleagues

• Prepare and maintain process manuals/WI up to date

Fixed assets and CAPEX Accounting:

• Manage accounting process for whole lifecycle of assets from order approval until end of useful-life of assets including providing guidance in Fixed Asset and CAPEX area

• Post and settle the Fixed asset related journal entries perform the capitalization disposal master data changes

• Do the Assets under construction follow up with Local Controlling and Finance and prepare CAPEX monitoring reports

• Take part in the Fixed Asset physical inventory

Intercompany Accounting:

• Carry out Intercompany billing accounting and reporting activities: perform the non-trade recharges (eg. Royalties IT cycle GBS charge-back) post the trade invoices received from non-SAP companies
• Reconcile intercompany invoices and AP&AR balances. Investigate and resolve payment queries between affiliates
• Perform issue resolution related to inter-company invoices

As Financial Accountant:

• Identify possible issues solve these and escalate them if necessary
• Make proposals in projects see the impacts across the Fixed asset and Inter-company processes
• Participation in professional projects
• Give professional help to Junior colleagues

You Have:

• Finance degree or equivalent (like Chartered accountant)
• 2-3 years in Finance ; Fixed asset and/or Intercompany experience is advantage
• Fluent English level any other language knowledge considered as a nice to have
• Excellent MS office proficiency; Proven experience working in SAP would be an asset
