The FP&A Senior Functional Cost Analyst is responsible for financial planning forecasting reporting and analysis of assigned global functional cost areas (e.g. G&A IT HR Finance Legal HQ or other centrally managed functions). The role partners closely with functional leaders to drive cost transparency disciplined forecasting and decision-oriented insights ensuring alignment with financial targets and strategic priorities.

This position reports to the Finance Director HQ FP&A and is part of the broader HQ FP&A organization located in Budapest Hungary and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Support the monthly financial close process including accruals validation of actual results variance analysis system reconciliation and compliance with SOX controls.
• Lead financial forecasting budgeting and expense planning activities in collaboration with global business partners and cross-functional teams.
• Delivers actionable analytics executive reports and dashboards; tracks cost efficiency and savings to support performance management.
• Partner closely with the India COE team to provide insightful business analysis ensure accurate cost accounting and support financial decision-making. Serve as a trusted finance advisor to senior business leaders on budget management and forecasting activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by simplifying standardizing and automating financial processes reporting and day-to-day operations.

Who you are:

• Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics or related field.
• 45 years of experience in financial analysis FP&A accounting auditing or other data-driven business roles.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting variance analysis and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Familiarity with ERP and FP&A systems (e.g. OneStream Qlik SAP Oracle).
• Proactive independent and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Experience working in a global matrix organization.
