Roche Digital Technology (RDT) for People & Culture (P&C) acts as the Capability Factory for Roche. The Opportunity

The Delivery Service Manager (DSM) for Financial & Mobility technology ensures that the what and why of the product vision are actually realized through a disciplined how. While other roles may focus on long-term strategy or technical design the DSM ensures that the delivery ecosystem works together effectively to provide a stable supportable and high-value service.

  • Backlog Ownership: Manage and prioritize the product backlog by balancing business value risks and technical dependencies.

  • Requirement Translation: Convert stakeholder needs into clear ready user stories equipped with specific acceptance criteria for the development team.

  • Release Planning: Lead operational readiness and impact assessments to ensure feature deployments are successfully integrated into daily operations.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the bridge between business leaders and developers to manage expectations and refine the product roadmap.

  • End-to-End Execution: Oversee daily operations and track progress to ensure the stable and reliable delivery of services.

  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary contact for external partners ensuring they meet quality scope and compliance standards in collaboration with the Transformation Lead.

  • Quality & Health Monitoring: Monitor system health and maintain performance dashboards to ensure high service availability.

  • Risk & Compliance: Maintain audit readiness and internal controls to ensure all delivery activities align with security and regulatory policies.

Who you are

  • Domain & Methodological Expertise: Possesses deep technical knowledge in specified systems alongside a strong understanding of IT Service Management and SCRUM methodologies.

  • Stakeholder & Communication Mastery: Demonstrates excellent English communication skills and the ability to represent user groups influencing and managing expectations across all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic Prioritization: Combines analytical thinking with a good enough instead of perfection philosophy to manage high input volumes and meet objectives effectively.

  • Independent & Virtual Collaboration: Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and plan personal workloads while remaining a highly effective contributor to virtual teams.

  • Problem-Solving & Growth Mindset: Driven by a passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge utilizing a hands-on customer-service-oriented approach to resolve issues.
