The Position

Please note: This is a 30 hours / week part-time position.

The Record to Report (R2R) Department is a global organization of over 650 experienced finance professionals working together to deliver financial services and solutions for Roche across the EMEA region. Our services cover financial management period-end closing capital and lease accounting credit and receivables manufacturing finance and divisional reporting ensuring compliance for 263 reporting entities in 96 countries with accounting standards (IFRS GAAP) and providing assurance of financial integrity.

The Opportunity:

As Credit & Collection Analyst for Central Europe you are an important link between the business and the customers across Roche Pharmaceutical and Diagnostics division. You implement credit management strategies to minimize Roches risk of doubtful accounts propose improvements to enhance the efficiency of credit management processes while continuously improving the performance of the RSS.

  • Conducting an effective credit management strategy to reduce Company (Roche) exposure risk to doubtful accounts

  • Evaluating Customer Credit based on financial strength and ability to pay on time classify risk categories

  • Determining and managing Customer Credit Profile Data including worthiness score/risk class / group etc.; instruct Master Data team to update profile

  • Managing blocked Sales Orders as defined by the Local Credit Management Policy

  • Preparing and analyzing Customer Ageing/Open item Report (as defined in the Local Credit Management Policy and in alignment with FGAR)

  • Collaborating with other teams/ team members stakeholder daily based conversation with the supported Affiliate

Who you are:

  • 1-3 years of related experience in Credit Management is desirable and experience in Shared Service Center environment is preferred

  • University or College Education concentration on Finance or Accounting is a plus

  • SAP knowledge Intermediate Excel skills and understanding of the Order to Cash process & analytical skills is an advantage

  • Self-driven Team-player attitude with independent decision making skills is required

  • Proficiency in English
