We are looking for a Business Development Manager Healthcare Warehousing & Distribution to drive commercial growth and expand our healthcare logistics footprint in Hungary. This role requires a highly motivated sales professional with a strong background in healthcare logistics warehousing and distribution combined with the ability to identify develop and secure new business opportunities.

This position requires a fluent Hungarian speaker with professional-level English proficiency as you will collaborate with both local customers and international UPS Healthcare stakeholders.

Your Impact

As the Business Development Manager for Healthcare Warehousing & Distribution you will be responsible for building a robust sales pipeline and generating new revenue opportunities for UPS Healthcares warehousing and distribution services in Hungary.

Working closely with Enterprise and Small & Medium Business Sales teams as well as leveraging your own market knowledge and network you will identify opportunities develop customer relationships and create tailored solutions that address clients supply chain needs.

You will play a key role in supporting UPS Healthcares strategic growth by bringing market insights identifying emerging opportunities and strengthening our position within the healthcare logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify generate and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Manage and convert leads received from European and Global Sales partners.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of customer referrals and industry contacts.
  • Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce.
  • Create and execute sales plans and growth strategies.
  • Schedule and manage customer-facing sales activities.
  • Lead commercial proposal development in partnership with Tender Management and cross-functional teams.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and contractual terms with customers.
  • Work closely with operations and solution design teams to develop customer-focused logistics solutions.
  • Gather and share market intelligence customer insights and competitive information to support strategic decision-making.
  • Represent UPS Healthcare in customer meetings industry events and business development initiatives.

What Youll Need

  • Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in Business Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the logistics industry ideally across multiple functions.
  • Proven experience in business development sales or account management.
  • Strong understanding of Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Logistics.
  • Thorough knowledge of warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Fluent Hungarian language skills (spoken and written) are mandatory.
  • Fluent English language skills (spoken and written) are mandatory.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to product and service development.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Flexible proactive and results-oriented approach.
