AI Solutions & Process Automation Trainee for Global Procurement & Supply Chain

Overall Purpose of Job:

The AI Solutions & Process Automation Trainee for Global Procurement & Supply Chain role congtributes to the KOSTAL AI and digitalization roadmap for Procurement & Supply Chain.

It supports the development implementation and continuous improvement of AI-driven solutions and process automations that enhance efficiency knowledge management and digitalization across Procurement & Supply Chain.

It is a fixed-term contract for one year in a hybrid work arrangement.

Main tasks roles and responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the AI and digitalization roadmap for Procurement & Supply Chain.
• Analyze existing processes and identify suitable AI use cases to improve efficiency automate activities and strengthen knowledge management.
• Develop test and continuously improve AI-based prototypes and workflows such as assistants chatbots automations and AI agents.
• Support the integration of AI solutions into existing processes systems and data sources including through APIs and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Track evaluate and document AI initiatives and communicate solutions and best practices through presentations guidelines training sessions and workshops.

Qualifications :

Experiences and requirements:

• Currently enrolled in Business Information Systems Computer Science Data Science Industrial Engineering or a comparable degree program.
• Good German and English language skills

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong interest in generative AI large language models AI agents process automation and digitalization.
• Initial practical experience with AI technologies and tools such as ChatGPT Microsoft Copilot OpenAI APIs LangChain or comparable solutions.
• Basic programming and interface skills ideally in Python or JavaScript and working with REST APIs; experience with low-code/no-code solutions is an advantage.
• Independent structured and solution-oriented working style enthusiasm for sharing your own ideas
