Al Horreya Company was established in 1966 Horreia Food Industries was founded by the Fendi family in Egypt in 1966. Our story began with a desire to make high quality and unique sweets and chocolates, starting in the early 70's with the Chicohend brand, which rapidly expanded to become a market leader in the Fourré market, resulting in The invention of Saula Brand in the 90's. The Elite and Farha brands were added in 2014 and 2015, respectively, to cater to customers in Egypt and the MENA region. Not only is El Horreya the market leader in Egypt in the confectionery industry, we currently hold the fourth largest market share in the coated wafer market.
