Site Supervisor – Construction
Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Site Supervisors to oversee daily construction and interior fit-out activities at project sites in Guinea West Africa.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising site teams coordinating different trades monitoring work progress maintaining quality standards and ensuring work is completed safely and according to project requirements.
Candidates with experience in villas residential buildings commercial buildings hotels or interior fit-out projects will be preferred.
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and manpower.
- Allocate work to workers foremen and subcontractors.
- Monitor construction activities according to approved drawings specifications and schedules.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager engineers foremen and subcontractors.
- Monitor progress and ensure work is completed within the required timeline.
- Inspect workmanship and ensure required quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate civil finishing MEP and interior fit-out activities.
- Check materials and ensure proper use and storage at site.
- Monitor manpower attendance and productivity.
- Identify site issues and report them to the Project Manager.
- Assist in resolving technical and operational problems.
- Ensure workers follow site safety rules and procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of the work area.
- Prepare daily site progress updates and reports.
- Ensure minimum wastage of materials and resources.
- Support inspections testing and project handover activities.
Required Skills:
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction or a related field is preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience. Strong experience in building construction residential projects commercial projects or interior fit-out. Good knowledge of construction methods materials and site practices. Ability to read and understand construction drawings. Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors. Strong team leadership and manpower management skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Strong attention to quality safety and project deadlines. Ability to work in a multicultural environment. GCC African or international construction experience will be an advantage. Willingness to relocate and work in Guinea West Africa.
