Job Summary
- Electrical Engineer 1 Position
- Plumbing Engineer 1 Position
We are seeking qualified and experienced MEP Engineers to join construction and interior fit-out projects in Guinea West Africa.
The successful candidates will be responsible for planning coordinating supervising installing testing and commissioning electrical or plumbing systems ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project specifications drawings quality standards and safety requirements.
- Plan supervise and coordinate MEP works at the project site.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings specifications and technical documents.
- Coordinate MEP activities with civil architectural and interior works.
- Monitor contractors technicians and site teams to ensure proper execution.
- Inspect materials installations and workmanship for compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager consultants contractors and other site teams.
- Monitor project progress and report technical issues and delays.
- Conduct inspections testing and commissioning of completed systems.
- Identify technical problems and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation reports inspection records and site progress updates.
- Ensure MEP works are completed within the required project schedule.
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience in building electrical systems and installations.
- Knowledge of power distribution lighting wiring panels earthing and related electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience in testing troubleshooting and commissioning electrical systems.
- Construction or building-project experience is preferred.
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Plumbing / MEP Engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience in building plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of water supply drainage sanitary piping pumps and related systems.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing/MEP drawings.
- Experience in installation testing troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Construction or building-project experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of construction and MEP practices. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with multicultural project teams. Strong attention to quality safety and project timelines. GCC African or international construction experience will be an advantage. Willingness to relocate and work in Guinea West Africa.
