Logistics Manager – WestCentral Africa

The Logistics Manager leads and grows companys freight forwarding business in Guinea ensuring sustainable compliant and profitable operations. The role owns the country P&L drives operational excellence manages customer relationships and builds a highperforming local team aligned with group strategy.

• P&L Ownership: Deliver revenue GP and EBITDA targets; manage pricing margins and working capital.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee endtoend import/export/domestic logistics; ensure service quality ontime performance risk management and compliance.
• Process & Performance: Implement and improve SOPs KPIs TMS/ERP usage capacity planning and vendor performance.
• Commercial Growth: Lead quotations and major RFQs; identify new business; maintain key customer and authority relationships; support solution design with group logistics.
• People Leadership: Build and develop a strong logistics team; set KPIs; drive accountability safety and continuous improvement; support talent attraction and retention.

• Strong freight forwarding/logistics background with P&L leadership.
• Mandatory: Proven professional experience in West or Central Africa (South Africa experience does not qualify).
• Handson leadership style with solid commercial and operational acumen.
• Ability to navigate complex local environments and drive structured growth.
• Bachelors/Masters degree preferred.
• Full relocation required this is a permanent onground role in Conakry Guinea.
