Solutions Sales Engineer, Data & AI

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Sales Engineer Data & AI to help organizations unlock the value of their data through modern analytics business intelligence and AI-driven solutions.

This role is focused primarily on Data & Analytics helping customers design and adopt modern data platforms that enable better decision-making operational efficiency and business transformation.

As a trusted advisor you will partner with Sales teams and customers throughout the sales cycle leading technical discovery solution design demonstrations workshops and proposal development.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data platforms and analytics with outstanding communication and customer engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead customer discovery workshops focused on data strategy analytics reporting and AI opportunities.
• Design scalable cloud-based data and analytics solutions.
• Deliver compelling demonstrations presentations and proof-of-concepts.
• Create solution architectures proposals and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Support customers in defining data modernization and analytics roadmaps.
• Collaborate with implementation and delivery teams to ensure successful project transitions.
• Stay current with evolving Data Analytics AI landscape
• Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Presales Solutions Engineering Technical Consulting or customer-facing solution architecture roles.
• Minimum 10 years of overall experience in IT Data Analytics Cloud or Business Intelligence environments.
• Proven experience designing and presenting enterprise Data & Analytics solutions.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Microsoft Fabric
• Power BI
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Databricks
• Data Warehousing
• Data Lakes
• Data Governance
• Business Intelligence and Reporting
• Experience conducting executive-level workshops and technical presentations.
• Experience supporting enterprise sales opportunities and complex buying cycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Greek and English (written and spoken)
• Eligibility to work in Greece.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a Microsoft Partner System Integrator Consultancy or Technology Vendor environment.
• Experience with AI Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered analytics capabilities.
• Public sector or highly regulated industry experience is advantageous.
