Job Summary
ROLE SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The DevSecOps Engineering Intern will work closely with engineers platform engineers software developers and product owners as part of a global digital team into the software delivery lifecycle. The role will focus on automation security tooling and pipeline engineering contributing to CI/CD workflows infrastructure and security controls that protect Pfizers digital platforms and the data they process.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting administration configuration and lifecycle management of enterprise platforms such as Postman Miro Jira Confluence GitHub and AQM
Assisting with onboarding access management and permission models across these tools
Developing scripts and small services (primarily in Python) to automate repetitive admin tasks reporting and bulk operations
Contributing to documentation runbooks knowledge articles through reviews and testing
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Expected Technical Background / Skills
Basic understanding of REST APIs and webhook-based integrations
Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows (branches pull requests code reviews)
Comfort working on an existing codebase and following established conventions
Nice to be familiar with:
Hands-on exposure to one or more of: Jira Confluence GitHub Miro or AQM
CI/CD concepts and pipeline tooling (GitHub Actions Azure DevOps or similar)
Comfort working on an existing codebase and following established conventions
Exposure to cloud based environments
