PeopleCert is looking for a proactive and service-oriented People Coordinator to support the delivery of efficient compliant and employee-focused HR operations across the employee lifecycle. The role is responsible for providing first-line HR support managing employee administration maintaining accurate people data and ensuring HR processes are delivered consistently and in line with company policies and employment legislation. This role plays a key part in enabling a positive employee experience by supporting onboarding employee changes leave administration payroll-related activities compliance processes and HR queries.

As People Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver end-to-end employee lifecycle administration from onboarding through to exit.
  • Provide first-line HR support and guidance on policies processes systems and employee relations matters.
  • Process employee changes maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage emails and resolve queries within agreed service levels.
  • Support compliance activities including Right to Work checks DBS screening GDPR requests and audits.
  • Administer leave processes and support payroll-related employee changes.
  • Build effective relationships with managers employees People Partners and stakeholders.
  • Support organisational change activities projects testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure HR processes are applied consistently fairly and in line with company policy and UK employment requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR People Operations or HR Administration role.
  • Proven experience working within a UK HR/People Services environment would be considered an asset.
  • Good understanding of UK employment practices HR processes and employee lifecycle administration.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Experience maintaining confidential employee data and ensuring compliance.
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired; LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
  • Advanced computer literacy is required; ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable.
  • Experience using HR systems and case management tools is advantageous.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

  • If we work on the SELT service in the UK background checks will include:
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
