PeopleCert is looking for an experienced People Business Partnering & Talent Acquisition Director to drive our global people strategy and oversee the HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition functions across the Group.

Reporting to the VP People & Culture this strategic leadership role partners closely with senior business leaders to strengthen organisational capability enable business growth and ensure we attract develop and retain exceptional talent.

It is a senior Group-level People leadership role particularly important as the Group continues to integrate and align its people practices operating model and organisational structures following a significant acquisition. The successful candidate will bring strong experience across both HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a complex international and fast-paced environment.

As a People Business Partnering & Talent Acquisition Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing the People Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition teams creating a high-performing customer-focused and business-oriented function.
  • Partnering with senior business leaders to align people strategies with organisational priorities growth plans and workforce needs.
  • Driving strategic workforce planning initiatives ensuring the organisation has the talent capabilities and succession pipelines required to achieve its objectives.
  • Defining and executing the Group Talent Acquisition strategy ensuring attraction selection and hiring practices support business growth and workforce quality.
  • Leading executive and critical hiring initiatives while continuously enhancing recruitment effectiveness and candidate experience.
  • Coaching and supporting leaders on organisational design change management leadership effectiveness and talent decisions.
  • Advising senior stakeholders on complex people matters and providing practical solutions that balance business requirements employee experience and organisational culture.
  • Using workforce and talent insights to identify trends risks and opportunities supporting data-driven decision-making across the Group.
  • Partnering closely with Centres of Excellence including Learning & Development Total Rewards People Analytics and HR Operations to ensure integrated people solutions.
  • Monitoring and improving key people and talent metrics including recruitment effectiveness retention internal mobility.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation internal policies and best-practice people management standards.
  • Staying informed on emerging HR talent workforce and leadership trends introducing innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value.

What we are looking for:

  • Α senior People leader with substantial experience across both HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition ideally gained in a complex international multi-entity environment.
  • Someone who will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving matrixed and evolving environment where priorities may shift and pragmatic business-focused decision-making is essential.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology Management or a related field. A postgraduate qualification would be considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of strategic HR management organisational effectiveness workforce planning talent management and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and executives.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience building coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment strategies talent market dynamics and executive hiring practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data and insights to support business decisions.
  • Experience managing organisational change transformation initiatives and business growth environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Experience in technology-enabled international organisations would be considered a strong asset.
  • Passion for building great teams developing people and creating a culture where employees can thrive and perform at their best.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

  • If we work on the SELT service in the UK background checks will include:
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
