Marine Coastal Engineer
Job Summary
- Design and review marine infrastructure projects including ports marinas breakwaters and revetments quay walls and piled structures seawater intake and outfall systems underwater pipelines with scour protection systems.
- Perform engineering analyses and design calculations related to marine and coastal structures including metocean wave hydrodynamic mooring and port layout studies with specialized software (e.g. DHI MIKE Optimoor).
- Prepare technical reports design calculations engineering drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop integrated and constructible engineering solutions.
- Review engineering deliverables prepared by external consultants and subcontractors.
- Contribute to value engineering and design optimization initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of technical presentations engineering scopes and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications international codes and standards and quality management procedures.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with emphasis on coastal engineering marine structures.
- Masters degree in Coastal/Marine Engineering.
- 3 7 years of Engineering experience designing works related to Marine/Coastal Engineering.
- Familiarity with international design codes standards and industry best practices.
- Excellent command of both Greek and English written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
