PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Maintenance Operator is responsible to service maintain perform warranty repairs and overall rolling stock. As part of the maintenance team he/she will ensure the equipment is serviced and maintained in a safe efficient and cost-effective manner whilst constantly seeking to improve quality.

MISSIONS & RESPONSABILITIES

Responsabilities

Maintenance

• Work as directed by and in co-operation with the Team Leaders and Production Management Team in order to:
• Adhere to and work within Quality Systems to the current applicable standards.
• Work as part of a team complete or assist in any of the teams activities to ensure work is completed on time to specification.
• Understand and follow work instructions Standard Operating Sheets and Task Sequencing.
• Apply Special Processes.
• Support secondary level fault finding as and when required.
• Use work related IT Systems as required to record progress of operations and status of issues.

Reporting

• Accurately report status of operations complete Work Checklists and Work Orders with the required level of detail including completion time.

Continuous Improvement

• Make suggestions and recommendations for productivity improvements working with the team leaders and Industrialteam
• Maintain 5S good housekeeping of all related work areas in accordance with set standards.

Training/Agility

• Be capable of accepting training in other skills and carry out duties e.g. forklift road vehicle driving (if certified) attend call-outs and breakdowns if required.
• Be capable of being re-trained in other activities/skills as required by the Production Management Team in order to support the Operations as required.

Environmental Health & Safety

• Understand and abide to safety notices rules and regulations and follow safe working practices compliant with local standards.
• Comply with all EHS protection and AZDP(Alstom Zero Deviation Policy)measures.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Completion of maintenance tasks according to schedule with the required quality
• Accurate reporting of Operations Progress spent time.

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

• Diploma of Technical School or OAED school in electrical and refrigerator works
• Dual skilled (mechanical & electrical)
• Professional permit to work in refrigeration plants and HVAC systems

Desirable Knowledge / Experience:

• Experience of working to procedures work instructions and vehicle maintenance instructions
• Knowledge and practical experience of train maintenance
• Experience of mentoring and instructing other team members
• Technical skills in fault finding reading schematic diagrams work to technical instructions
• Language: Greek (country language) and English
