Client Overview

Our client is an international energy and electrical technology company involved in the deployment commissioning maintenance and servicing of energy storage systems and related electrical infrastructure.

The company supports large-scale energy projects through on-site technical services including system commissioning troubleshooting repairs revamping repowering and ongoing operation and maintenance.

For an upcoming project in Larissa Greece the company is looking for qualified electricians to join its project team and support electrical and technical activities throughout the six-month assignment.


Job Role

The Electrician Energy Storage Systems will be responsible for on-site electrical commissioning troubleshooting repair revamping repowering and O&M activities for energy storage systems.

The role requires practical experience in electrical systems strong safety awareness and the ability to work effectively in an industrial project environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the local project team and report to the Project Manager.

In addition to electrical responsibilities the role may involve basic structural and cosmetic restoration of electrical cabinets and equipment including sheet metal work grinding surface preparation painting and basic welding where required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site commissioning of electrical equipment and energy storage systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment and identify faults during commissioning and operation.
  • Conduct electrical repairs and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Perform revamping and repowering activities for existing energy storage equipment.
  • Carry out routine operation and maintenance (O&M) activities.
  • Support inspection testing and verification of electrical equipment before and during commissioning.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and job-specific risk assessments before commencing work.
  • Follow electrical safety procedures site safety requirements and applicable work permit procedures.
  • Wear and properly use required PPE at all times.
  • Perform basic structural and cosmetic repairs to electrical cabinets and frames including sheet metal bending straightening drilling and basic welding.
  • Carry out grinding rust removal surface preparation primer application and final painting for equipment restoration and corrosion protection.
  • Handle electrical and repair tools and materials responsibly including grinders spray equipment welding tools sealants paint and sheet materials.
  • Ensure hot-work coating and other potentially hazardous activities comply with applicable site safety and permit procedures.
  • Complete assigned work according to project schedules and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with the local technical team and report progress issues and technical findings to the Project Manager.


Candidate Requirements

  • Valid Electrical License is mandatory.
  • Valid High-Voltage Electrical Training Certificate is mandatory.
  • Valid Health & Safety certification such as ISO 45001 or equivalent.
  • Product-specific training or certification related to energy storage systems is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional electrical work experience.
  • Experience with energy storage systems power systems electrical equipment or industrial electrical projects is preferred.
  • Practical experience in electrical commissioning troubleshooting repair or O&M.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage electrical safety and work procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical structural sheet metal grinding painting and welding work is an advantage.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to conduct or participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.
  • Basic English communication skills are an advantage.
  • Physically and professionally able to work on-site in Larissa Greece for the full six-month project period.
  • Able to work effectively with local and international project teams.
