Could you be the full-time Project Buyer in Thessaloniki were looking for
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supplier management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
Youll play a key role in ensuring the success of procurement activities from supplier selection to contract negotiation while driving project excellence. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Regional Procurement Platform & Project Teams Supplier Quality Supply Chain Legal and Finance) support commodity strategy development and much more.
Youll specifically take care of setting up the supplier selection process and managing supplier relationships but also contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives.
Well look to you for:
- Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation with suppliers
- Leading project negotiations
- Monitoring procurement project QCDT (Quality Cost Delivery and Technical) and legal project evolution
- Ensuring work package commitments are respected
- Preparing Business Awards
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Coordinating projects with all relevant stakeholders
- Supporting the development and implementation of commodity strategies
- Managing supplier performance and supporting supplier development

- A masters degree in Engineering or Business School
- Fluency in Greek and English
- Experience or understanding of sourcing and procurement processes (0-5 years)
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management
- Familiarity with working in a matrix environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
- Ability to challenge and drive results
- A structured and rigorous approach to work
- An international mindset
