We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounting Manager / Chief Accountant to lead our Accounting Department and ensure the integrity accuracy and compliance of the Companys financial operations. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting activities lead the accounting team and act as a key business partner to senior management.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead supervise and develop the Accounting Department ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

  • Oversee the full accounting cycle and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.

  • Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements..

  • Monitor cash flow balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger activities.

  • Develop implement and continuously improve accounting policies procedures and internal controls.

  • Provide financial analysis and management reports to support strategic decision-making.

  • Coordinate external audits and act as the primary contact for auditors tax advisors and regulatory authorities.

  • Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives.

  • Mentor coach and evaluate the performance of the accounting team.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

  • Masters degree and/or professional certification (ACCA CPA ACA SOEL or equivalent) will be considered an asset.

  • Valid Class A Accountant License (A Class License) is mandatory.

  • Minimum 710 years of accounting experience including several years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Strong experience in preparing complete financial statements.

  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and local tax legislation.

  • Solid understanding of accounting standards internal controls and financial reporting.

  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical organizational and leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
