Job Summary
NAYA By Africa is looking for a Warehouse & Inventory Associate to be the primary custodian of our physical inventory accurately receiving storing recording controlling issuing and dispatching stock. Youll help rebuild NAYAs inventory controls and establish reliable warehouse processes that keep Production and Sales fully supplied.


Key Responsibilities
  • Receive raw materials packaging and supplies and verify quantities against purchase orders
  • Maintain an organized clean secure and properly labeled warehouse with defined storage locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in Unleashed including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
  • Track batch lot and expiry information applying FIFO/FEFO principles where required
  • Issue materials to Production and reconcile returns; escalate shortages before they affect schedules
  • Receive and record finished goods from Production maintaining accurate stock by SKU and batch
  • Prepare stock transfers and pick/dispatch stock for retail wholesale and e-commerce fulfilment

Requirements
Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Inventory Management Business or related field
  • Minimum 2 years relevant warehouse or inventory-management experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments preferred
  • Experience using inventory-management software is highly desirable; strong numeracy and attention to detail

Required Skills:

Requirements Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Laboratory Technology Cosmetic Science Chemical Engineering Food Science Pharmacy or related discipline 23 years relevant QC or laboratory experience preferred Experience in cosmetics personal care food pharmaceuticals or manufacturing is an advantage Strong numerical accuracy observation and documentation skills; working knowledge of GMP desirable Key Skills & Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail Technical observation Testing and sampling discipline Documentation Integrity Organization Problem escalation Consistency Quality mindset Ability to work closely with Production while remaining objective
