Job Summary

Our client in the Health sector is seeking to recruit an Administration Manager to serve as the lead for all administrative and people management functions within the hospital providing strategic and operational support to the Medical Director. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient hospital operations effective workforce management and high standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will drive administrative excellence ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and support the hospitals growth through strong people systems operational controls and stakeholder engagement.


Key Responsibilities

People Management
  • Lead end-to-end human resource management including workforce planning recruitment onboarding performance management and staff welfare.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels skill mix and productivity across all departments.
  • Implement performance management systems and manage employee relations in compliance with labour laws and hospital policies.
  • Promote staff engagement well-being and adherence to patient-centred care standards.
  • Coordinate staff training inductions and compliance-related development programs.
  • Maintain accurate staff records and support payroll and benefits administration.
Hospital Administration & Operations
  • Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure efficient and compliant hospital functioning.
  • Develop implement and maintain administrative policies procedures and internal controls.
  • Coordinate departmental activities and service providers to ensure consistent service delivery and adequate supply of medical and non-medical items.
  • Manage administrative and personnel budgets to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including insurance providers regulators vendors and partners.
Business Development & Reporting
  • Support the growth of the hospital by managing partnerships contracts and client relationships.
  • Lead and coordinate sales and marketing efforts to grow the hospitals client base and brand presence.
  • Prepare accurate operational and administrative reports for management and board decision-making.
  • Monitor performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations safeguarding standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient staff and organizational information.
  • Establish systems that support quality assurance accountability and operational excellence.


Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Education
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration Public Administration or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g. CIPD SHRM or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in hospital administration HR management or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience in people management administrative operations and stakeholder engagement within a healthcare or regulated environment.
  • Experience in budgeting reporting and operational planning.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational administrative and planning skills.
