KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate general ledger (GL) accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GRA requirements including VAT PAYE Withholding Tax and Corporate Income Tax
- Oversee timely payroll inputs and manage SSNIT Tier 1 & Tier 2 contributions
- Enforce internal financial controls and policy adherence (expense policy
- procurement policy petty cash)
- Coordinate external audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Capture all data accurately and on time into the companys reporting systems
- Strictly adhere to all HQ Group Controlling timelines
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyse financial data to support decision-making
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Strictly adhere to HQs financial handbook and processes
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist in cash flow management and planning
- Monitor financial performance against budgets
- Provide financial insights for planning and cost optimisation
- Coordinate with HQ Group Controlling with respect to budgets and P&L
Administration:
- Manage administrative spend and ensure vendor SLAs are met
- Identify and implement process improvements in finance systems
- Maintain proper filing record-keeping systems and asset registers
- Maintain employee payroll records and financial data
- Track leave accruals and provisions
- Support general finance operations and cross-functional coordination
Finance Systems & IT Support (Light)
- Support ERP/accounting systems and reporting tools
- Troubleshoot first-line issues (posting errors report templates master data) and escalate to IT/vendor as needed.
- Champion process automation (templates workflows OCR for AP bank rules) and data hygiene.
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field
- Professional certification (ACCA ICA CPA CA or CIMA) is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Strong knowledge of Ghana tax laws and IFRS
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.

Required Skills:
Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. Professional certification such as ACCA ICA CPA CA or CIMA is an advantage. Experience Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws statutory compliance requirements and IFRS.
