Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable AC Technician to join our real estate property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing inspecting maintaining and repairing heating and ventilation systems across our residential and commercial properties. You will play a vital role in ensuring optimal indoor air quality system efficiency and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Upgrades: Install replace and commission new AC units and control systems in residential and commercial properties.
Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (cleaning filters checking refrigerant levels inspecting electrical components and flushing condensate lines) to optimize efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical electrical and electronic faults in HVAC systems and execute timely repairs or part replacements.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and faults to minimize tenant downtime and discomfort.
System Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to evaluate HVAC system performance identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and building policies.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of service requests maintenance activities replaced parts among others.
Education: Certificate in electrical electronics AC installation or HVAC systems.
Experience: Minimum of 23 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician ideally within real estate property management or commercial facilities.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in diagnosing and repairing split systems and central AC units.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities strong communication and a customer-service-oriented mindset when interacting with tenants and property owners.
Required Skills:
Qualifications & Experience Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture. Registered Architect with the relevant professional body. Minimum of 8 years relevant post-qualification experience preferably within real estate development or construction. Proven experience delivering projects from concept through completion. Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit BIM SketchUp and other relevant design software. Strong knowledge of local building regulations construction methods and multidisciplinary project coordination.
