Job Summary

Are you passionate about power electronics simulation and the technologies powering the next generation of electric vehicles

Join Flexs Automotive Power Electronics team in Stuttgart and contribute to the development of advanced onboard chargers (OBC) DC/DC converters and EMI solutions used in leading global automotive programs. You will work alongside experienced engineers in an international environment and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge simulation modeling and converter technologies.

What a typical day looks like:

Help advance simulation environments for automotive power conversion systems by:

  • Developing and extending SPICE-based simulation environments for next-gen Onboard Chargers (OBC)
  • Implementing and evaluating different modulation concepts
  • Performing Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) for automotive DC/DC and charging platforms
  • Automating simulation workflows and improving engineering efficiency
  • Supporting design verification and performance optimization activities

The experience were looking to add to our team:

  • Enrolled in a masters program (or advanced bachelors program) in: Electrical Engineering Power Electronics Mechatronics or related fields.
  • Interest in power electronics and electric mobility
  • Initial experience with SPICE simulation (LTspice pSpice or similar)
  • Structured and analytical way of working
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Nice to have knowledge of DC/DC converters and resonant converters Programming (Python or similar)
