Your tasks:
As a working student you will support the Business Analysis team responsible for our 24/7 Gas Trading product and gain valuable insights into energy trading product management and software development. Collaboration with experienced colleagues across several European locations offers a unique opportunity to work in an international business and technology environment.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing product documentation and knowledge bases as well as supporting the preparation and follow-up of meetings workshops and training sessions. The role also involves tracking action items milestones and project deliverables to support the successful execution of projects and strategic initiatives.
In addition support is provided in creating presentations reports and management materials while contributing to onboarding and knowledge-sharing activities within the team. Exposure to business analysis topics includes assisting with requirements documentation process modelling and testing. The position is further enriched by involvement in initiatives aimed at improving team collaboration modernizing trading systems and optimizing business processes. You bring along:
- Currently enrolled in a Masters program in Business Informatics Information Systems Computer Science Engineering Economics Mathematics or a comparable field
- Available to work 1820 hours per week across three days alongside your studies
- Commitment to join us as a working student for at least three semesters and willingness to work regularly from our office in Leipzig
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities combined with a structured and detail-oriented approach
- Team-oriented mindset flexibility and a proactive attitude towards achieving shared goals
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence SharePoint Jira Power BI or similar applications is considered an advantage
- Strong interest in business analysis product management software delivery or energy markets and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
