Tasks

The role

As VP Engineering you will build and lead the engineering organisation behind our AI platform. Your mandate is clear: turn product requirements and validated AI concepts into reliable scalable and maintainable software. You will own engineering delivery architecture technical quality and engineering culture while remaining hands-on where it matters.

Requirements

What youll bring

• Experience building and leading engineering teams in a fast-moving product company.
• A track record of taking products from prototype to production while scaling engineering teams processes and technical foundations from early-stage through growth.
• Strong engineering judgement across modern Python-based backend systems cloud infrastructure distributed systems and AI-enabled products.
• Experience building and operating LLM or agentic systems in production including evaluation guardrails and failure handling.
• You use modern AI coding tools as a core part of your engineering workflow and can effectively review and quality-control AI-generated code.
• Evidence of making fast high-quality decisions under ambiguity including deciding what not to build.
• Experience in healthcare clinical workflows FHIR regulated or safety-critical software or enterprise software deployments is a strong advantage but not required.
• Excellent written and spoken English. German is a plus but not required.
