About the Role

This position is located in Hamburg Germany and reports to the Global Technology Manager Medical. The contract is limited for 3 Years (this applies to a tariff position).

Whatyouwill do
  • Drive the development standardization and implementation of manufacturing technologies across Essity Medical to support growth and operational excellence

  • Establish and maintain global technology standards equipment specifications and manufacturing best practices to ensure consistency and compliance

  • Lead technical and manufacturing technology workstreams within major investment and industrialization projects providing expertise from concept development through implementation and supporting technology transfer start-up and ramp-up

  • Scout evaluate and introduce innovative manufacturing technologies and industry trends to strengthen Essitys future capabilities

  • Provide technical leadership in equipment selection supplier engagement requirement definition technology assessments and design reviews

  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to develop robust scalable and sustainable manufacturing solutions while improving safety quality and performance across the global Medical network

Whoyouare

  • University degree in Automation Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Other engineering backgrounds with relevant experience are also welcome

  • Several years of experience in manufacturing engineering technology development or capital investment projects preferably in an international environment

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing equipment automation machine design and industrial production processes; experience in regulated industries is an advantage

  • Proven ability to define technical requirements equipment specifications technology standards and manufacturing concepts

  • Strong capability to drive technical topics influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across functions sites and cultures

  • Curious and innovative mindset combined with strong communication skills a hands-on approach willingness to travel internationally and fluency in English. German and additional languages are considered an advantage
