The opportunity
What youll do
- Carry out parks and horticultural maintenance including mowing planting weeding mulching and garden care.
- Maintain park assets such as playgrounds furniture fences paths and landscaped areas.
- Operate and undertake routine maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Complete safety documentation follow safe work practices and identify workplace hazards.
- Record work activities digitally and provide excellent customer service to the community.
What you need to succeed
- Trade Certificate in Horticulture or relevant horticultural experience.
- Experience operating and maintaining a range of light and heavy machinery.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality parks and open space maintenance.
- Confidence using mobile devices and digital systems to manage work activities.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence and ability to obtain a medium rigid truck endorsement.

Pre-Employment Requirements
Progressed candidates will be required to complete a NationalPolice Record Check a Pre-Employment Medical Check. Candidates must also hold a valid Victorian Drivers License with the ability to obtain a medium rigid truck endorsement.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen Permanent Resident orhold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted workingrights. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitmentprocess.
