We are Group Finance & Tax a diverse team with more than 70 colleagues based in Metzingen. Our ambition is to build a leading tech-enabled Finance & Tax organization that ensures compliance transparency and high-quality financial and tax reporting across the line with our mission to support and protect the business we design scalable tax processes ensure regulatory compliance and act as trusted advisors to our internal stakeholders.

As Team Leader Corporate Tax you will play a key role in the end-to-end tax steering of the Group with a strong focus on Tax Reporting & Accounting Corporate Income Tax and Employment Tax. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Tax you will act as a central business partner to Finance Accounting HR and external auditors ensuring the correct application of tax regulations and the continuous development of tax governance and processes.

• Team Leadership & Development:
  Lead and develop a multidisciplinary tax team of XX dedicated tax professionals across Tax Reporting & Accounting Corporate Income Tax and Employment Tax. Foster a collaborative high-performance culture support professional growth and act as a coach on complex tax and accounting-related topics.
• Tax Reporting & Accounting:
  Ensure high-quality tax input for monthly quarterly and annual group reporting (HGB/IFRS) including the calculation and analysis of current and deferred taxes ETR development and tax disclosures. Act as main contact for auditors for all tax-related aspects of the group audit.
• Pillar Two & Regulatory Topics:
  Take ownership of Pillar Two compliance and related reporting requirements ensuring technically sound implementation robust processes and close alignment with Finance and external advisors.
• Corporate Income Tax:
  Oversee the tax aspects of statutory financial statements ensure timely and compliant preparation of corporate income tax and trade tax returns and take responsibility for tax audits and ongoing compliance requirements at group level.
• Employment Tax Governance:
  Steer employment tax topics across HR Payroll and Finance interfaces. Further develop the Employment Tax Competence Center including governance processes documentation and the use of digital tools such as CITAX.
• Process Excellence & Business Partnering:
  Continuously improve tax processes data flows and control frameworks across reporting accounting and tax compliance. Act as a trusted business partner to Finance Controlling Investor Relations Legal and HR translating complex tax matters into clear management insights.

Das ist dein Profil:

• Educational Background
  Degree in Business Administration Economics Finance Tax Law or a comparable qualification; successfully passed German tax advisor exam (Steuerberater).
• Professional Experience
  7 years of professional experience in group tax tax reporting or a Big Four tax/audit environment ideally within a listed multinational group.
• Technical Expertise
  Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS with hands-on experience in tax accounting deferred taxes group tax reporting and corporate income tax. Solid understanding of Pillar Two regulations is a strong advantage.
• Leadership & Project Experience
  Initial experience in leading teams or complex cross-functional projects with a clear people-development mindset and the ability to structure and steer multiple topics in parallel.
• Analytical & Change Skills
  Strong analytical capabilities high attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement and digitalization in a dynamic environment.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management
  Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to different stakeholders in an international context both in English and German.
• Systems & Tools
  Experience with SAP-based finance/tax environments and tax reporting tools (e.g. GTC); openness to digital solutions and new technologies is expected.
• Quality & Ownership
  High standards for quality accuracy and accountability combined with a strong service orientation towards internal stakeholders.
