Your responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the KION GenAI Platform and its strategic roadmap including budget planning.

• Ensure a scalable secure and costefficient service operation using cloudnative services.

• Lead delivery of GenAI use cases from requirements gathering and service provisioning to implementation support and operation.

• Ensure reliable platform operations monitor performance and maintain Service Level Agreement compliance.

• Drive continuous improvement of development deployment and monitoring processes (DevOps / LLMOps / AgentOps).

• Ensure secure operation of GenAI services (access control logging monitoring and incident management).

• Implement and support global KION AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders.

• Lead coach and support the professional development of the global team of AI Engineers and platform experts.

What we are looking for:

• Masters degree in computer science data science engineering

• Proven experience (7 years) in AI Data Science Machine Learning or AI-related architecture/technology projects preferably within a large enterprise environment

• Profound understanding of current AI technologies (ML models LLMs vector databases RAG methods modern frameworks)

• Experience in IT governance product management or AI-related application ownership

• Strong understanding of AI/GenAI lifecycle enterprise software processes and governance best practices

• Knowledge about AI project management delivery or technological evaluation as well as agile methodologies and DevOps practices

• Experience in creating solutions in a collaborative cross-functional team environment

• Structured independent and analytical way of working as well as a high willingness to learn

• Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges

• Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams

• Very good knowledge of English German is a plus.
