EIFER seeks a student assistant (m/f/d) for GIS Assistance and Implementation of Data Processing.
This position is based in Karlsruhe and is available to start 01.07.2026.
Monthly working hours are based on the candidates qualifications:
- No degree: 401 hours per month
- Bachelors degree: 37.9 hours per month
- Masters degree: 28.5 hours per month
Salary: 610 per month
- Assist in GIS Data Processing (Data cleansing and harmonization spatial analyses) .
- Support the preparation of methodology report and documentation.
- Help with the development of automated data processing workflows (e.g. in Python).
- Support for analyses and validations.
- Currently enrolled as a University student
preferred study subjects: Geoinformatics Environmental Informatics Multi Energy Systems. - Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in energy research and sustainability.
- Basic knowledge of Python is an advantage (especially for data analysis and processing).
