Job Summary
To support the Student Services team we are looking for a student assistant (gn*) at the earliest possible date. The workload is designed for approximately 20 hours per week with a remuneration of 15 euros per hour.
- Be the friendly face of Student Services on site: provide personal consultation and support for (international) students at the Student Info Point.
- Help students navigate university life: answer inquiries related to Student Affairs (e.g. housing queries; questions on public transportation the schedule & examinations on the semester abroad etc.).
- Foster community spirit: organize and promote extracurricular events from on-campus meetups and a yearly weekend trip to virtual meetings (evening & weekend work is required depending on event schedules).
- Handle administrative tasks: issue certificates conduct research and assist in daily operations.
- Currently enrolled at a state-recognized university.
- Excellent English skills (written & spoken); German is a plus!
- Friendly service-oriented motivated and confident in interacting with diverse groups.
- Organized detail-oriented and reliable in your work approach.
- Team player with a proactive and engaging attitude.
- Availability at our KLU campus Hamburg (role requires physical presence).
- Flexible availability: occasional evenings & weekends for events.
