Job Summary
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Better engineering decisions start with better analysis. We are looking for an engineer to advance structural analysis capabilities by developing validating and improving methods deepening understanding of structural behaviour and sharing this knowledge across products and projects.

This includes building FE models interpreting structural behaviour validating assumptions and identifying better approaches. You ensure:
- High-quality structural analyses in product development while methods models and tools are continuously improved and validated
- Early identification and open communication of uncertainties limitations and knowledge gaps before they impact decisions

Develop structural analysis methods: Build validate and improve methods models and tools that enhance quality speed and capability of structural analysis.

YOUR PROFILE
What You Bring
- Deep understanding of composite materials laminate mechanics and failure mechanisms
- Experience applying and improving structural analysis methods for composites
- Strong engineering judgement to evaluate simulations and derive conclusions
- Solid FEA and structural mechanics knowledge (load transfer nonlinear behaviour structural response)
- Research mindset and curiosity about structural behaviour
- Fluent English
- Scripting/automation (Python MATLAB)
- Correlation of simulations with test data
- HyperWorks or similar nonlinear FEA tools
- German skills
