For our location in Schönefeld we are looking for a:

Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d)

You take ownership of our procurement activitiesbalancing strategic sourcing with hands-on execution to ensure cost efficiency supplier performance and operational reliability. You act as a key partner to internal stakeholders and suppliers driving transparency process improvements and data-driven decision-making across the procurement function.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives
• Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFQs negotiations and purchasing decisions
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships including contract negotiation and performance monitoring
• Take ownership of daily procurement operations ensuring efficiency speed and transparency
• Drive process optimization and digitalization within procurement including introduction of tools and systems
• Collaborate closely with Operations Finance Legal IT and other departments
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve performance
• Ensure compliance with internal policies regulatory requirements and ethical standards

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Several years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Proactive structured and ownership-driven mindset
• Experience with procurement tools and systems
• Fluent in English and at least B2-level German
• Valid driving license
