We are seeking a Strategic Development Manager to shape how and where TYTAN grows. This is not a quota-carrying sales role- it sits upstream of business development and owns the strategy behind our expansion: which markets to enter which partnerships and acquisitions create long-term value and how we position ahead of demand rather than reacting to it. The ideal candidate pairs sharp analytical and financial judgment with the operational discipline to turn strategy into executed outcomes working directly with leadership on the decisions that define TYTANs trajectory.
Develop and execute TYTANs growth strategy identify evaluate and prioritise new regional markets customer segments and expansion pathways backed by data.
Drive corporate development and inorganic growth assess and help execute acquisitions joint ventures and investments including the business cases and financial models behind them.
Architect and structure strategic partnerships with defense primes industrial players and technology partners that unlock access capability and scale.
Own TYTANs market and competitive intelligence across the C-UAS and air-defense landscape threat evolution competitors budgets procurement cycles and turn it into clear direction for leadership.
Build quantified business cases and help structure complex multi-year commercial and framework agreements across engineering finance and legal.
Act as a thought partner to leadership representing the growth agenda cross-functionally and externally.
36 years in strategy consulting corporate development investment (private equity / venture capital / banking) or a strategic commercial role - ideally with exposure to defense aerospace or deep tech.
A strong analytical and financial toolkit: business-case development financial modelling and market analysis.
A demonstrable track record of turning ambiguous complex problems into clear strategy and executed outcomes.
High ownership and initiative. Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced dynamic and creative environment.
Confident advising and interfacing with executive leadership and senior external stakeholders.
Fluent in German and English. Additional languages are a plus.
Hands-on experience structuring M&A joint ventures or strategic partnerships end-to-end.
Understanding of integrated hardwaresoftware defense systems ideally in air defense autonomy or sensor capabilities.
Knowledge of government contracting procurement processes and industrial-participation frameworks.
Familiarity with the European defense ecosystem NATO armed forces or MoD procurement.
Security clearance: Willingness to undergo security vetting as required for classified customer and partner engagements. Due to clearance requirements affiliations with countries listed under 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may affect the application process.
Travel: Heavy. Expect European and international travel for partner meetings industry events and leadership engagements.

Shape scalable defence capabilities: Work on solutions built for mass deployment cost efficiency resilience and reliable production at scale
Contribute to networked air defence: Help integrate our systems into multi-layered defence architectures alongside sensors command systems and effectors
Develop for real-world operations: Build capabilities together with end users and improve them continuously based on direct operational feedback
