Job Summary
The Role
We are seeking an engineer to build the platform that powers our global fleet of power plant controllers. Youll develop systems that ingest store and transfer monitoring data from our controllers both in the cloud and at the edge on industrial PCs. Your work will enable performance analytics event alerts and intelligent diagnostics that our customers depend on.
What Youll Do:
- Own the architecture of our centralized asset management platform.
- Optimize ingestion storage and transfer of data from our control software in the cloud and at the edge.
- Improve infrastructure reliability and operations of our IoT fleet.
- Build products on top of plant data including performance analysis real-time alerts and diagnostic systems.
- Collaborate closely with our controls team to turn plant data into useful insights.
What You Bring:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals regardless of your primary programming language.
- Hands-on experience with data ingestion pipelines distributed systems or IoT fleet operations.
- Track record of owning infrastructure and operations not just application code.
- Problem solving generalist mindset with ability to work across varying technologies.
- Clear proactive communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with TypeScript (used in our cloud) or Rust (used in our controller).
- Familiarity with edge deployments containerization or industrial environments.
