Job Summary

As a member of a team providing services you will have the following responsibility:

  • Design develop and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems;
  • Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g. DO-178C DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices;
  • Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects;
  • Conduct testing validation and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements.

Qualifications :

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering minimum Masters or Diplom degree;
  • IT / Information Systems at least 3 years.
  • Aerospace Engineering at least 3 years.
  • Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications is required;
  • Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g. ARINC 653 DO-178C) and safety-critical software development;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German is a plus;
  • Experience in C/C and/or Ada and real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks) is needed;
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers);
  • Knowledge of Hardware Architectures (x86 ARM and RISC-V);
  • Experience with CI/CD Methodologies;
  • Self-reliant and systematic way of working;
  • Ability to work in an international team;
  • Communication networking and team-working ability.
