Senior Software Engineer Embedded Systems & Development Methods (fmdiv.)

• As a Senior Software Engineer for Embedded Systems & Development Methods (f/m/div.) you will be primarily responsible for the conception implementation and testing of high-quality reusable C code for our embedded software platform.
• You will actively shape and optimize our software development methods and processes for both internal and external customers to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Analyzing and solving complex technical challenges within the context of our build environment and hardware abstraction also falls within your area of responsibility.
• In doing so you will work closely with your team members to ensure the seamless integration of all software components.
• Your expertise will contribute significantly to the further development of our embedded systems ensuring their functionality and performance.

Qualifications :

• Education: completed degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• Experience and Know-How: Implementation of complex technical requirements into robust maintainable embedded software solutions; Systematic analysis and independent resolution of in-depth technical problems with strong problem-solving skills; Methodical analysis and improvement of existing software development processes; Holistic system understanding of the entire development process (from requirements to integration); Professional C programming for resource-constrained systems; Application development against APIs of basic software (operating system/core software); Knowledge of the entire embedded software lifecycle (analysis design implementation testing); Understanding of microcontroller architectures and hardware/software interaction; Practical knowledge of development tools (compiler debugger static analysis Git); Desirable: Knowledge of fault management parameter management and communication services (e.g. CAN)
• Personality and Working Style: Highly analytical structured and goal-oriented approach to problem-solving; Excellent ability to work both independently on complex topics and collaboratively within an international team; Proactive and responsible mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality reliable results
• Enthusiasm: Developing software for tangible products like mobile machinery; Mastering technical complexity and creating elegant efficient solutions for embedded systems; Continuously improving development processes and tools to increase productivity and quality for hundreds of developers
• Language: very good German and English
