Your responsibilities

• Lead industrial design projects across BIOTRONIKs product portfolio & BIOLAB innovation initiatives
• Shape product strategy & contribute to product development from early exploration through implementation
• Translate user clinical business and technical insights into meaningful product experiences
• Drive design activities in close collaboration with engineering UX human factors product management and manufacturing teams
• Develop compelling visualizations prototypes & design concepts to communicate test & refine ideas
• Plan & facilitate workshops with internal stakeholders physicians & healthcare professionals
• Maintain & further evolve BIOTRONIKs hardware design language & design standards
• Support BIOLAB venture & innovation activities through concept development visual storytelling & executive-level presentations
  
  

Your profile

• Degree in Industrial Design Product Design or a related discipline
• Several years of professional experience in industrial design ideally within medical technology or other highly regulated complex product environments
• Proven track record of leading industrial design projects from concept through implementation
• Strong expertise in human-centered design product strategy and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent skills in visualization prototyping storytelling presentation and workshop facilitation
• Proficiency in SolidWorks KeyShot and other relevant design tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English German is a plus
• Design build and evaluate physical prototypes using a range of prototyping technologies including CNC machining 3D printing laser cutting and model-making techniques
• Own & continuously evolve BIOLABs hardware prototyping capabilities tools processes & workshop infrastructure to enable rapid experimentation and innovation
• Establish best practices to make prototyping resources accessible
