Senior Go Backend Developer (m/f/d) Hamburg (Hybrid) Up to 90000
Were partnering with a fast-growing international technology company that operates a large-scale data platform serving hundreds of millions of users globally.
Were looking for a Senior Go Backend Developer to join their engineering team in Hamburg (hybrid working model). This is an English-speaking environment with colleagues from around the world and relocation support is available for candidates moving to Germany.
Tasks
- Building and scaling high-performance Go services
- Processing and analysing millions of real-time events daily
- Designing distributed systems using Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Developing APIs and data platforms used by external partners
- Optimising database performance across large-scale datasets
- Contributing to cloud-native microservices-based infrastructure
Requirements
- 5 years of software development experience
- 3 years of commercial Go development
- Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies
- Solid database optimisation skills (MySQL Druid or similar)
- Experience operating services at significant scale
