Department Overview
TheSemicustomteam in Munich is part of Microns global design organization focused on delivering highquality semicustom digital solutions for advanced memory products. The team develops and integrates critical digital blocks that enable performance power efficiency testability and manufacturability across multiple technology nodes.
Role Overview
As aDesign Engineer you will design implement and verify digital circuit blocks used in nextgeneration memory products. You will work closely with global design verification product engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure robust scalable and manufacturable solutions from concept through silicon validation.
Responsibilities
Design and implement digital blocks (e.g. PLL control logic BISTDfT) using semicustom methodologies
Develop and integrate Place & Route (P&R) blocks including AIenabled P&R features
Perform RTL functional and gatelevel verification to ensure design quality and reliability
Set upmaintain and enhance semicustom design flows to improve efficiency and scalability
Support silicon bringup and design validation activities in collaboration with crossfunctional teams
Create clear technical documentation to support design reviews and knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Physics or a related field
3 years of experience in RTL design using Verilog or VHDL
Handson experience with synthesis timing constraints and static timing analysis (STA)
Practical experience with at least3of the following tools: Fusion Compiler PrimeTimeNCSim TCL Perl
Ability to collaborate effectively in an international crossfunctional environment
Proficiencyin written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with semicustom design flows in advanced technology nodes
Exposure to silicon validation and postsilicon debug
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting for design automation
The base salary range that Micron estimates it could pay in for this position full-time is:
76.00000 - 128.00000 per year.Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed oneach job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salariesof the position. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors including knowledge skills experience tenure and relevanteducation or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the position.
