Job Summary

Grob Aircraft SE is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of training and special mission aircraft flown by air forces flight schools and operators in more than 30 countries. As an EASA-approved Design Production and Maintenance Organisation (Part 21J / 21G / Part 145) we develop build and support CS-23 certified aircraft including the G 120TP the G 115 family and the newly developed CA-1 Europa.

Your Role

As an (Senior) Avionics / Electrical Systems Engineer you take ownership of the avionics architecture that defines how our aircraft sense communicate and operate. You will work with modern avionics systems and contribute across the entire development cycle from requirements definition to integration and certification.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and development of avionics system architectures

  • Integration and configuration of avionics systems

  • Definition and management of system and interface requirements

  • Preparation and revision of technical documentation such as system specifications interface control documents wiring diagrams and certification deliverables

  • Technical support for prototype build system integration and production

  • Preparation and supervision of system integration and test activities

  • Close collaboration with internal teams as well as external suppliers and partners

Your Profile

  • Degree in aerospace electrical or systems engineering or a comparable qualification

  • Experience in avionics or electrical systems engineering

  • Solid understanding of cockpit systems electrical systems bus systems and system integration

  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken

  • Structured analytical and solution-oriented working style

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Knowledge of relevant aerospace certification standards (E. CS-23 CS-25 or similar)

  • German language skills
