Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Analytical Consultant (m/f/d) with experience in the financial services and payments industry to join our Customer Analytics team which develops data-driven solutions for our clients.

This role is central to delivering impactful analytics supporting pre-sales activities and driving innovation in areas such as credit risk fraud detection and customer intelligence. The Senior Consultant combines technical expertise with strong business acumen to ensure our clients realize measurable value from Experians local and regional data products and analytical services.

This position offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid model from our offices in Düsseldorf or Frankfurt.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and diverse datasets to generate actionable insights that support business decisions in credit risk fraud analytics and customer behavior
  • Design develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning solutions for complex client challenges
  • Drive pre-sales activities by assessing client needs developing tailored solution concepts and supporting proof-of-concept projects
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Product Development and Marketing to ensure seamless integration of analytics into client solutions
  • Strengthen client relationships identify new business opportunities and support business development initiatives

 


Qualifications :

 

  • University degree in Mathematics Statistics Data Science Computer Science or a related field
  • Several years of hands-on experience in data analytics analytical consulting or related advisory roles ideally focused on credit risk fraud analytics or marketing analytics
  • Strong understanding of banking regulatory requirements and analytical use cases within the financial services and payments industry
  • Proven expertise in statistical modeling machine learning and data mining; proficiency in Python or similar programming languages and PySpark
  • Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms as well as data visualization tools is considered an advantage
  • Fluent German and English language skills
