Were looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations and financial this role youll ensure compliance drive process improvements and partner with teams across the business to support informed decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes ensuring timely invoice processing payments collections and expense reporting.

• Lead the month-end quarter-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy compliance and timely reporting.

• Oversee fixed asset accounting including capitalization depreciation disposals and asset reconciliations.

• Perform and manage inter company reconciliations ensuring accurate balances and timely resolution of discrepancies.

• Maintain robust financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with external auditors tax advisors and other stakeholders to support audits tax filings and statutory reporting.

• Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes financial controls and documentation to enhance efficiency and scalability.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights support business decisions and improve operational processes.

• Degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.

• 4 - 7 years of relevant accounting experience ideally in startups scale-ups or complex environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with German accounting standards (HGB); IFRS exposure is a plus.

• Experience owning closing processes and working with auditors.

• Practical experience with ERP systems Odoo experience is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with spend/expense tools such as Moss Pleo Spendesk or similar.

• Strong Excel skills and interest in automation and modern AI-supported accounting workflows.

• Hands-on structured and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.

• Fluent in German and English.
