Scrum Master Product Owner

The Opportunity

CACI is looking for a Scrum Master/ Product Owner to support U.S. European Commands Knowledge Management team in delivering innovative user-centered solutions that improve decision-making enhance information sharing and streamline business processes. The Scrum Master / Product Owner applies technical expertise customer engagement and design thinking to develop and sustain enterprise KM tools and practices across multiple classification levels. This position will be focused on managing backlogs sprint planning and release planning for multiple Software Sustainment systems as well as managing customer expectations and requirements for those systems.

Responsibilities

The Scrum Master is a hybrid role responsible for facilitating software development; facilitating daily stand-ups and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve technical and project issues the team may be experiencing; removing project obstacles; documenting progress and communicating to appropriate audience. This role also may involve product owner responsibilities including roadmap planning and feature design. The scrum master will
Facilitate Scrum and Agile (SAFe) ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives

Provide strategic technical leadership ensuring alignment with client needs and program goals
Support the team in maintaining a sustainable pace and improving delivery predictability through facilitation of team velocity Track and collect Agile metrics for inclusion into program level metrics Remove impediments and proactively address blockers impacting team progress.
Support backlog refinement and release planning activities in partnership with Product Owners and program leadership
Creates meeting agendas and tracks after action items to closure for meetings as required
Facilitates team communications and updates product stakeholders and staff as appropriate
Prepares briefings on product status for both CACI and Government leadership
Foster effective communication between the development team Product Owner stakeholders and external organizations
Effectively documents and manages customer expectations in a fast-paced and fluid environment
Assists with the creation of contract deliverable documentation

Requirements

Qualifications

Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI.
Ability to obtain a TESA visa in Germany - BA/BS 5 years AA/AS 7 years major cert 9 years OR 11 years of specialized KM/IT experience.
3 years experience managing IT projects using either Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies in a military HQ or joint command environment.
5 years experience in software development software engineering and/or IT system and network architecture supporting enterprise-wide IT solutions
Must have Scrum Master certification
Experience with Agile development environments including familiarity with ServiceNow Confluence/JIRA or similar KM platforms.
Strong communication skills; able to brief senior leaders and work in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated expertise in qualitative user research methods including proficiency in conducting structured user interviews developing interview guides and applying techniques for uncovering user motivations and behaviors as outlined in established UX research frameworks

DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certification. Ability to obtain Security within 90 days of hire.
