Job Summary

*This role can be based anywhere in Germany*

As a SASE Sales Specialist you will be a key driver of revenue and growth for Palo Alto Networks SASE portfolio including Prisma Access Prisma SD-WAN and Next-Gen CASB. You will own a broad geographic territory of Enterprise accounts executing the go-to-market plan providing thought leadership and working with cross-functional teams to enable scale. This strategic role requires a closers mindset focused on solving critical security challenges for our customers and exceeding sales quotas in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to drive engagement and sales of the SASE portfolio to customers and partners.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to deliver accurate business forecasting and consistently exceed assigned quotas.

  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise on the SASE portfolio emerging security threats and the competitive landscape.

  • Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.

  • Proactively identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within new and existing accounts.

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with channel partners to drive sales and expand market reach through a channel-centric approach.

  • Conduct compelling presentations webinars and learning sessions for a variety of technical and business audiences.

  • Leverage all available internal resources to achieve sales objectives and ensure customer success.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales quotas in a high-tempo technology-focused sales environment.

  • Experience selling network infrastructure-based security solutions such as SASE SD-WAN Firewalls SSL/IPSec VPNs or Security Proxies.

  • Strong understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market approach and experience selling with and through channel partners.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to travel 50% or more throughout the assigned territory for customer meetings and company events.

  • Fluent German & English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience working with routing and switching products.

  • Technical acumen sufficient to lead initial technical discussions and product demonstrations independently.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to work with a high level of autonomy and self-direction.
