Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech. Vishay is currently seeking applicants for an Area Sales Manager Western Romania

In this position you will drive profitable growth across Romania by developing customer relationships building and managing a healthy pipeline and ensuring strong cross-functional coordination to deliver value and execution excellence for customers.

Location: You will be working from home office and are ideally located in Sibiu Timisoara or Brasov

What you will be doing:

• Own territory execution across Romania including account planning customer coverage pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
• Develop long-term customer partnerships and manage senior stakeholder relationships across commercial and technical interfaces.
• Identify and structure new business and demand creation opportunities; support design activity and conversion into revenue.
• Lead commercial discussions (pricing terms) and ensure disciplined follow-up and execution.
• Provide market & customer intelligence (applications trends competitors) and translate it into focused actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources align stakeholders evaluate milestones and support final acceptance of deliverables as needed.
• Provide information and consultancy on key principles and standards of cooperation with customers and partners.
• Plan and coordinate activities in assigned local projects or workstreams together with involved management and stakeholders.

What you will bring along:

• Proven experience in B2B sales / account management in a technical or industrial environment (electronics/semiconductors preferred).
• Educated at min. Bachelor level in Electronic Engineering or similar
• Strong commercial judgment negotiation skills and ability to manage complex sales cycles.
• Structured proactive customer-oriented mindset with a hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication skills in English; fluency in Romanian language is expected.
• Willingness to travel mainly within Romania
• Good knowledge of CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and standard business software (MS Office).
