RHEL Linux Support Engineer (all gender)

YOU

• provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Linux-based R&D and customer workstation environments 
• troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to RHEL hardware virtualization networking and software installations 
• analyze and drive resolution of customer and internal escalation cases (Yellow Flag investigations) 
• support software releases platform updates and integration activities 
• work closely with R&D platform and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions 
• maintain workstation configurations and ensure compliance with platform standards 
• create and maintain technical documentation knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides 
• contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and user experience 

Qualifications :

YOU

• have successfully completed studies in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a comparable qualification 
• have Experience supporting large-scale Linux workstation environments 
• are familiar with ticketing systems and incident management processes 
• have experience with configuration management and automation tools 
• understand software development workflows and release processes 
• possess strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 
• have proven Linux troubleshooting and system administration skills 
• have a good understanding of virtualization technologies and enterprise workstation environments 
• Experience with Bash Python or similar scripting languages 
• Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP DNS DHCP and security fundamentals 
• communicate professionally in English; German language skills are considered an advantage
