Release Manager (mfd) Enterprise Banking

We support organizations like Deutsche Bank BSH AXA and Deutsche Börse in building secure scalable and sustainable IT delivery processes from DevOps and platform engineering to regulatory compliance.

• Manage and coordinate complex product deliveries in a highly regulated banking environment
• Own change approval workflows and release processes (e.g. airfocus ServiceNow Jira)
• Implement and optimize feature flagging strategies for safe controlled deployments
• Coordinate agile teams across multiple levels (SAFe Scrum of Scrums) with end-to-end delivery oversight
• Lead a team of 10 people in a collegial hands-on management style
• Bring your technical GCP understanding actively into delivery decisions
• Act as the bridge between Engineering Product and Compliance

Must-have:

• 710 years delivering complex software products ideally in banking or highly regulated environments
• Proven experience with change management tooling (ServiceNow Jira or airfocus)
• Knowledge of feature flagging and modern release management practices
• Experience with scaled agile (SAFe Scrum of Scrums or equivalent)
• Leadership experience: managed teams of 10 people
• Hands-on GCP understanding
• Professional English (fluent)

Nice-to-have:

• GCP Professional Architect or equivalent certification
• Java / Spring background
• German language skills a plus
• Financial sector compliance experience (BaFin EBA)
